![]() Leesburg has so much to offer for people of all ages. With its Historic District in downtown Leesburg, you can stroll along streets that are home to many local shops and restaurants. Leesburg offers many parks and recreational areas, but is most known for Ida Lee Park which has inside activities including racquetball and swimming. Ida Lee hosts the Leesburg annual 4th of July festivities including an impressive firework display. The Town of Leesburg which includes the Historic District is located in the heart of Leesburg, surrounded by many new retail stores and restaurants, including the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets, with hundreds of name brand outlet stores. The growth in Leesburg has been tremendous over the past few years, but just head north and west, and within a short distance you are nestled in the country with mountain views, farms and horses. There are many horse farms where you can board your horses or take riding lessons. Looking for some water activities? Leesburg is home to the Lansdowne Resort, located along the Potomac River. Or take a ride on White's Ferry over to Maryland. And don't forget to bring your golf clubs. Leesburg has plenty of championship golf courses throughout the area.
